Great Caesar's Goats!
Can you guess what this picture is? Yes, in a moment of weakness I gave Pappy the fourth and final of the new bouncy rubber ball reserves, and he destroyed it. He's still got the old ball we rescued... somewhere, if we can find it.
The good news is that Pappy's honorary second birthday (and first anniversary with us) is approaching in five days, and we are looking for gift ideas. Certainly some new fetching balls would be nice, but I'm thinking Pappy might like one of the little fellows from this movie even more. I love these guys.

Ya know, I'm sure I could teach Teka that fainting thing...maybe Pappy would like her for a present?
LOL ... what funny goats! We think we will stay away from them, though. What if one of them fainted on top of us?

Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee,
hee hee hee,
I want one.
So that I can make it fall over all the time.
Gosh Pappy's fella you're difficult to keep up with.
Pappy definitely has ball issues.
Oh, and don't tell anyone but I voted for you in FIDO.
Woohoo!
Chow for now,
Tin Tin xo
Gus,
Would Teka fall over? She's awfully close to the ground.
Dachsies,
You would definitely need to pursue from a safe distance.
Tintin,
Thanks for your support, my friend.
That is so weird...
Woofs,

Pappy's Fella: Teka says it is not how far you fall, but how well you fall that counts
Fainting goats might be more entertaining that a ball Pappy! I think you need to consider this choice! hehehehe
Love ya lots,
Maggie
I think the cons would outweigh the pros (Pappy rolling in goat poop). Don't they make hardened balls for active chewers? I guess those are solid balls and not hollow. You should convince the dog toy companies to let Pappy be a tester.
C-K-C
Pfinnegan,
Weird and beautiful.
Gus,
So you're telling me Teka's in training to fall over? I hope it's not too rigorous a program.
Maggie,
I think he might like both.
C-K-C,
The upside of hollow rubber balls is that they bounce crazily, which is a big part of Pappy's chasing pleasure. There are some durable Chuck-it rubber balls, but they are $$$tres cher$$$-- my other challenge is that Pappy just plain loses a lot of balls when he isn't destroying them.
Those goats are hilarious. I have seen them before, but this clip finally explains to my why the heck they do this. Thanks for posting it.
Still lovin' your blog!

Teka is not in training to fall. She has been spending too much time with Dad, so now she thinks she is a philosopher!
Sweets,
Thanks for stopping by.
Gus,
Tell Teka to be careful while navel gazing-- she could get stuck that way.
