Food Glorious Food

food-turkeyOur buddy Finnegan has tagged us to come up with five must-have food items for Pappy and my sustenance. For me it is curiously easy:

  1. Milk.

  2. Peanut butter.

  3. Graham crackers. Spread on some of the peanut butter. Ideally add some broiled marshmallows on top, but this is optional. My signature dessert.

  4. Espresso beans.

  5. Beer. The perfect food.

For Pappy it is a little more difficult since his diet primarily consists of kibble. But here goes:
  1. Artemis Adult Dog food.

  2. Carrots.

  3. Pizzles.

  4. Great slabs of beef. (A dog can dream.)

  5. Any tissues or fast food wrappers he finds on a walk.

To perpetuate the tag, I am going to pass this along to MJ and Buddy once they return from their summer breaks.

Thanks for sharing! Pappy and I have many culinary preferences in common. Long live the pizzle!

Goober love,

My lady won't let me eat pizzles...she gets grossed out. Of course the only one she did give me I half ate and put under her pillow for later. Perhaps that is why she doesn't like them.

Mmmmmmmm....beer. Even better now that it's Octoberfest!

Thanks for your praise.

Stanley and Murphy,
The less said about pizzles the better. Pappy could get a complex.

DC has supremely boring Oktoberfests. I bet Pittsburgh has the best.

Some mysteries are best left unsolved.

Welcome. Food is definitely popular in the Pappy household.

Hey pal, what are Graham crackers? We don't get them here in the UK. Anything spread with peanut butter has got to be good though! J x

Closest thing in the UK might be digestive biscuits. The grainy ones. Of course if I could get a regular supply of Ouma Rusks, I might just be able to switch trains.

Thanks for the explanation. Digestive biscuits are good. All the Js here like them.
