Growing Up

Pappy PottyAs Pappy fast approaches two years, he's showing great curiosity about the toilet. This is very promising. He's quite precocious, so we're hopeful that he'll pick up potty training soon.

So, what is sitting on the tank that is keeping the papster's interest during this interesting shot? 3dogs are only seen with their head in the toilet whenever they get a chance to go into a bathroom. 3dogs.

Pappy you need some doggy steps so you can do the deed. I cannot even see into the bowl even on tippy toes.

3dog,
Pappy's fixated on the handle. He's moved on from self-administered swirlies to the mechanics of making it work.

Scrappy,
He's got a kind of skinny butt, so he may need a special seat too. If you ever got up there, I'm afraid you'd be headed down the drain.

(Bow)wow, maybe you can get him to help clean the thing while he's there.

Possibly a good place to stash a bone? or the much-loved tennis ball?

Chow for now,

That's pretty precocious. Good luck Pappy. I can't even see the inside of the bowl let alone use it. Oh how proud Mom would be, if I could just learn to use that thing to pee. Do you have any more videos coming out soon? Mom and I love them!

It takes some coaxing to get me into the toilet room. There is waaaay too much water in there. Mum and Dad are teaching me though. I am learning about shower glass - water can't get through it - it's amazing!!!

Tintin,
Pappy hasn't demonstrated much in the way of cleaning or tidying skills. I could imagine him dropping a tennis ball in, but I don't see that ending well.

Sweets,
I've been thinking about ideas for a movie, but am a bit intimidated. Like Citizen Kane, the unexpected success of the Christmas video will be a hard act to follow.

Tex,
It's all we can do to keep him out of the bathroom when we're using it-- unless, of course, we're running water for his bath.

Uh, oh....maybe he read the post about Knucklehead the Betta and is worried about suffering the same fate...

Good point. Maybe Knucklehead is calling to him.
