Nesting Behavior
Pappy likes clothes. If I happen to drop a shirt on the bedroom floor when headed for the shower, on my return I am likely to find Pappy lying on top of it. And if we are separating laundry, it's simply irresistable to him. He settles down in the middle of of the pile and makes a little nest.
Of course if he insists on sitting on the laundry while I'm trying to strip the bed, he's gonna get what's coming to him. He becomes just another victim of collateral damage.

Tanner does this too, he also likes to pull clothes out of the hamper through the holes!
On more than one occasion I have headed toward the washer with a dog tangled in the laundry. I load very carefully.
Me too. I think it's the irresistable aroma of undergarments. J x
Not that J1 & J2 are superstinky, you understand! Hehehe! J x
That's why Lilly's "go to place" command is NEST. And, it's why one of our late Dalmatian's nicknames was "The Bird." She made lovely nests out of anything she could find.
Hee Hee, Murph does that too! And I wrap him up and threaten to throw him in the wash... My last pup, Boo was so funny she would lay on anything that ended up on the ground, the funniest was when she tried to curl her whole body up to lay on a paper napkin that was 1/4 of her size, but she tried really hard to lay just on the napkin. Crazy pups.
Murph;s lady
Teka thinks helping strip the bed is great fun, She gets muzzer to play tug with the blankies, then hides in the covers
At least he doesn't try to get on the bed while you're stripping it. :)
Saw your YouTube video of Pappy and other Dog Blog buddies. Amazing job!
Aw, that is adorable. My dogs like that too.
Amici likes to lay on my slippers or pants if they are on the floor next to the bed.
I don't think he'd tolerate Pappy's current situation though. :P
Too cute!! Our furry son (Salty Dog) does the same thing - he must roll around in the laundry. Just wish it was that easy to give him a bath!!
