Troubling Problems with Estate Planning

News has emerged that Trouble, Leona Helmsley's canine heir to a $12 million trust, has been receiving threats. Some menacing knothead has reputedly spouted: "I'm gonna kidnap the dog. I need the $12 million." He must be planning to buy lottery tickets.

This may affect my own estate planning. Clearly Pappy is going to need some heavy armament to protect our vast t-shirt empire when I'm gone. Maybe some tanks and stuff.

Well, you'd better start interviewing now for his posse. Herding dogs to patrol the estate. Terriers at the door, etc.

Roxanne, Gus, Batpug,
The job advertisements are posted out on Monster.com. We'd be delighted to consider your applications.

Boomer,
It ain't great, but I doubt the threats to Trouble were particularly credible. I'm pretty sure the journalists were just looking for a hook to juice up the story. Since they don't mention any investigations, the threats were probably just idle comments on some blog posting...

I know a couple of Dobies that would take on a bear with a switch in the woods at night...maybe that pup would want to hire them?
