Decompressing

PappyAt work, there has been so much pressure the last week I feel like I am being driven headfirst into the floor like a nail. Meanwhile, my wife is organizing a national event with a thousand tasks to manage.

For the both of us, coming home to someone who hasn't the least idea of what you are worried about, whose priorities are a pat, a treat, and a good walk, goes a long way to putting things in perspective.

Yep...I try not to take that "unconditional love" thing for granted. Amazing how a wagging tail (or tails) can help ease some of the daily stress of life!

Nice reminder, Pappy's fella!

Completely agree. I've learned and gotten a lot from hanging with Charlie!

How do some people live without a dog??

Dachsies, Ferndoggle, Charlie, Cedarfield,
I guess we got lucky. It took the longest time for us to commit to getting a dog, and it makes a big difference.

Sometimes Dad tells me that he would prefer my life over his. Well, I guess I am pretty lucky...

Thanks guys. Pappy's doing a great job, and the nice thing about being a little older is that you really get that "this too shall pass..."
